Lynn Bogovich
"Update"
Lynn Bogovich has had to step down as the one of the clinicians for this event due to Medical Reasons, We wish her a speedy recovery, However do look for her conducting future events.
Jennifer Owens will be taking over Lynn Bogovichs position as one of the festival conductors. Jennifer Ownes has 33 years of ringing experience. She has directed both church and community bell ensembles and has taught classes at AGEHR’s Youth and Adult Festival Conferences. Her special area of expertise is treble bell techniques (shelly and four in hand). Jennifer has lived in the Silver Spring area all her life. She holds degrees in English and French and is employed as a copy editor by the American Society for Microbiology in Washington, D.C.
Robert Kobus

Rob Kobus is the Artistic Director for Capital Carillon, Inc., a professional handbell group that rehearses and performs in the Washington, DC area. He also is a change ringer with the Washington National Cathedral, Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. Washington. Rob attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey as a Church Music Major and while in New Jersey was appointed as Director of Music, Trinity Church, Hackettstown. The choirs at Hackettstown consisted of nine handbell choirs, nine vocal choirs, and numerous children choirs. Upon returning to the Washington, DC area, he was appointed as Interim Director of Handbells at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, Washington DC. He was also appointed as the Area III Metro D.C. representative for the American Guild of Englsih Handbell Ringers(AGEHR). Rob is a member of the AGEHR, the American Guild of Organists, the Royal College of Church Music, and the North American Guild of Change Ringers. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, National Symphony Orchestra, Riverside Church in New York City, and Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, also in New York City.
