Hagerstown Area Handbell Festival

Event Committee

In the Spring of 2011, Capital Carillon members created an event committee to organize and produce events to the ringing community. Seeing a need for local events , the committee established 3 events each year to serve fellow ringers and directors.

Our goal is three-fold, Educate, Celebrate, and Provide.  We hope to…..

• Educate though focused workshops such as our recent very popular Technique workshop.

• Celebrate   the Art of Handbell Ringing though festivals, such as the Hagerstown Area Handbell Festival, 
•  
•   
• Provide    a resource to all Directors and Ringers through Read and Ring sessions focused to choirs Level 1—Level 6, covering choirs 2 Octaves to 7 Octaves. As church budgets get tighter, this is a great opportunity to read through over 100 pieces of music which may server as a tool in your music planning.
